cip on saturday! (Animals R for Life)

met peijia n yien at e bus stop n i realised that my phone was spoilt. (in other words Singtel is pretty screwed up cus i couldnt receive any msgs. and those tt i sent out nv reached them either. -.-)

took bus down to bukit panjang together and slacked for quite a while in e mall cus we had no idea where to go until we finally decided to follow this grp of girls who looked like they were doing cip also. haha and we were right!

set up e doggie bakery stall at one side of that place (i dunno what tt place is supposed to be. abit hard to explain. haha) we were selling cookies (apple chip, peanut butter, meal in a cookie and fruits and nuts), tarts and pizzas tt came in chicken and lamb. abit expensive though, 10 bucks for e cookies, 8 for e pizzas and 6 for tarts.

business on e whole was not as good as we would have preferred but then again it's pretty hard to sell dog food expecially when there wasnt a lot of dog owners there and that e ppl from hc had already sold it to the owners before. so there were owners who told us that their dog didnt like e food so we couldnt do anything abt tt. >.<

but i really enjoyed e day because of all e dogs!

i saw 2 golden retrievers, a labrador, a husky (white! (:), jack russells, a collie, a shetland sheepdog and many other terriers and shih tzus. of course there were other breeds but i dunno all of them. there were two tt looked like small mops running around on e floor =X notice all e "a"s above. haha tt shows how little dogs there were. but these were e ones i paid more attention to due to their size. :D

my favourite was the collie named Russell and it looks really elegant!! such a handsome boy! haha. XD i got to touch it a lot a lot a lot of times cus his owner put him in pet care n e girl let me be in charge of it! e owner took e leash off at first but we put it back cus i was scared tt i might not have been able to control it and cus it liked to squeeze through the bars to try to get over to the side where 2 shih tzus were. i really liked looking after him a lot but after a while he got really sad and kept whining cus he missed his owner and tt got me a little worried. T.T luckily his owner came back really soon and we returned russell to her. i really liked him a lot cus he's a very tame dog. (:

haha i realised tt i have lots of stories to tell abt everything tt happened tt day but i'm not going to post it here partly cus i'm lazy n partly cus it'll make e post a really draggy one. =X ask me if you want to know. lol. i'll prob concentrate on russell only for now (:

so anyway.

there was this pet look-alike competition and russell and his owner took part in it. however, russell suddenly dragged the owner to our stall which was at e opposite side of where e competitors were supposed to gather. his owner then told us tt russell refused to go over to where all e other dogs were because the smaller dogs liked to bite him. poor russell. they had to go up e stage using e stairs on e other side eventually. (oh anyway ever since i took care of russell whenever he was near e stall he'd come to me when i called him and let me pet him! so sweet! ((: oh man i love collies so much now XD)
btw.
they got 2nd for e competition! argh. so sad lar! 1st went to this woman with a very noisy and small dog tt looked a little like a fox (i forgot e breed) and i think they so did not deserve the prize. hmph. nvm at least russell won something. his owner is a really nice lady and seriously they deserved something better. like gold. argh.
oh well.

anyway.
i managed to touch so many dogs! haha. either i tried to lure them over or i touched them when trying to promote the dog food. haha so unprofessional. my main aim e whole day was prob just to play with as many dogs as possible =X oh well. i feel so deprived now. i cant wait for peijia's puppies to come (: yien n i already book appointments with pj to go her house once e puppies come. haha. how exciting.

oh no i think my entries are getting more n more unsystematic and it's really becoming nonsensical rambling. oh dear.
